How Does AI Virtual Try-On Work?

Step 1: Understanding your photo

The AI locates the body, pose and existing clothes, and identifies what must stay untouched: face, hair, hands and background.

Step 2: Understanding the garment

It reads the garment's category, shape, length, colour, pattern and apparent fabric. That's why a clean, cut-out garment photo helps — EveryWear's virtual wardrobe removes backgrounds automatically.

Step 3: Generating the image

A generative model produces a new image of the same person, in the same pose, wearing the chosen pieces — handling drape, folds, shadows and layering.

In EveryWear you can use your own photo or create your Reflet: from a face photo and a full-body photo, the AI builds a neutral mannequin of you in jeans and a white T-shirt, a clean base for every try-on.

What AI try-on does well

Limits to keep in mind

A render is a generated image, not a fitting room. The AI doesn't know your exact size or the garment's real cut, so it can't tell you whether a size M fits. Small details like printed text or logos may be approximate. Use try-on to judge style and pairing, not size.
